I was born in 1979 and raised in a small town called Malda in India. After my schooling in my hometown, I graduated with Geology (Hons) from Presidency College (Kolkata) in 2001 and did my post-graduation from IIT Roorkee in 2003. Soon after, I started working in the Oil & Gas industry as a Geoscientist initially in Mumbai, and then moved to New Delhi in 2006 and worked there for two other international companies. Meanwhile, I married my college sweetheart Sanchita in 2006 and we were blessed with our first child Pouravee in 2010. In 2013, we made a big move and shifted to The Netherlands for our new work assignments and expanded our family with our second child Shreyanvee in 2016.
Life took many twists and turns just like many others among all the global turmoils, and after almost 20 years of a scientific-corporate career, I left my job in 2021. I took a career break and moved to northern Germany following my wife's career and look after my family. In early 2022, I signed up with one of the most prestigious and renowned coaching institutes: Co-Active Training School (https://coactive.com/) and started my exciting journey to be a Life Coach. This journey contributed immensely to my well-being and re-discovering my "mojo", and since then I am on a mission to spread that joy to others.

While working in The Netherlands, I worked my heart (and hours) out to make an impact and grow in my career and life - just like a normal person. However, life had different plans, as one day I realized that I burned myself out by trying to be a square peg in a round hole. I realised that the return on investment of our one-third of the day and maximum effort unfortunately does not yield a proportional outcome! My self-motivation dried up, I was feeling stuck constantly and I was struggling in life big time! Doctors advised me that I was going through "clinical depression" and all I could think was "This cannot be me"! I was in denial and frustrated, anxious. Those were some terrible days!
Towards the end of that difficult period, I had a chance meeting with a life coach for just an hour! Honestly, I did not even know what a life coach is before that! The hour passed very quickly, but the resonating effects of the conversation stayed long in my mind, significantly longer than I expected. For the first time, I met with my "inner warrior", saw my "life perspectives" and wondered about the "purpose of my life"! It was liberating, exhilarating and so much different from any other conversation I ever had in my life!
Once I left my work, I decided to become a Life Coach by choice. With all the troubles and attacks on humanity in the world around us, for sure we cannot change everything. But we all can do small positive changes to ourselves and the people around us. The journey always starts with us and we need to take care of it by ourselves and for ourselves.
Are you willing to take that journey to unshackle your potential, nurture your inner strengths and find your purpose with me?
